At Western General Surgery our surgeons work as a team to cover all aspects of elective and emergency General Surgery. We have extensive training and experience caring for unwell patients in complex situations.

We have access to regular scheduled operating sessions as well as emergency theatre availability both north and south of the river.

All of our surgeons participate in RACS continuing professional development, keep abreast of current literature and aim to provide the most up to date care possible, using the latest technologies and techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes.

One call will connect you with an experienced, subspecialist acute care surgeon who can arrange early review or admission and surgery as required in a timely fashion. 

We will communicate with you and your patients promptly and clearly.

Our surgeons have consultant appointments at public teaching hospitals, subspecialty expertise and are committed to providing prompt care and timely interventions.
